GOLF A SPORT TO ENJOY

The world of sports is fascinating, it ignites countless emotions, the majority difficult to predict, it is not just pleasure because it can provide the necessary tools to improve self-discipline, and it helps to develop strategies and decision making.

It is also an excellent excuse to gather the family and to promote values like humbleness, respect, constancy and perseverance to achieve objectives.

In Mazatlan we know of the importance of this sport, so when you visit the land of the deer, you will find several golf courses with excellent designs by professional players and modern facilities like Estrella del Mar (18 holes), El Cid Golf and Country Club (27 holes) and Campestre Club (9Holes)

Through the year there are several amateur and professional tournaments scheduled

The following are some traditional dates known: March the international Tom Garcia Golf Tournament (54 holes) under the medal play system, with prizes, trophies and raffles. At El Cid Golf Course, the tournament has been celebrated for more than 30 years.

Other tournaments take place in Holy Week, organized by El Cid. From the 8th to the 14th of May the Canadian Professional Golf Tour takes place at El Cid Golf Course and Country Club. From the 1st to the 3rd of August the Corona Golf Cup is scheduled.
