Because of the abundance of species of marlin, sword fish, sail fish and Dorado Mazatlán is considered one of the seven most preferred sport fishing destinations of the world.

Mazatlan´s excellent geographic location facilitates the presence of this species and those reserved for sport fishing during most of the year; this is the perfect excuse to adventure in one of the modern boats with an experience crew, to guaranty a unique and safe fishing experience for sport fishing lovers.

The importance of this activity is such that through the year several tournaments with big purses take place, like the Bill Fish Classic sport fishing tournament at la Marian El Cid in November, it is a catch and release sail fish, marlin and sword fish tournament.
