STONE ISLAND

Mazatlán has an ecological paradise at Stone Island. You can get there by sea or land. Located about 15 miles south of town and 1km by sea. Going to the island is quite an experience, especially by catamaran Yate Fiesta and Konaki where a diverse group of activities are available.

For tourist purposes natives are taking advantage of the long and sandy beaches building big palapas, giving a peculiar charm to it. Restaurants have been built to enjoy a great variety of fish and seafood, grilled fish, shrimps and fried fish.

In the ecologic view the island has to offer a great variety of marine bird species for watching. The flora has fruit trees, like mango, 900 hectare of mangrove swamps, coconut and wild flowers.

The leisure activities on the island are extraordinary, because of the long virgin beaches, for relaxing walks, camping and coconut tree watching. The quite sea, the fine texture of the sand and the beautiful natural landscapes help visitors from modern cities to this earthly paradise to leave behind everyday stress. Horseback riding, banana ride, surfing, Jet Ski, beach volleyball and family gatherings are also available.

For investors it is a paradise with potential just waiting for, just as the tourist development Estrella del Mar investors did, by the way it is the most important of northwestern Mexico.
