Take a tour through the bay on the Yate Fiesta

See the main tourist and natural attractions of Mazatlan

Yate Fiesta

An excellent option for those persons vacationing in Mazatlan is touring the bay on the Yate Fiesta. It is three hour tour through the main tourist attractions of this beautiful destination.

Yate Fiesta was one of the first tourist vessels in the city. A proof of that is the 27 years of excellent service behind it.

When boarding passengers will be welcome by an animator, he will explain each of the attractions to be visited.  

The first sit on the tour is the pier, where luxurious cruise ships dock, besides Mexico’s biggest fishing fleet is here too. Fishing is one of the main activities of the port.

The tour heads on to see the Creston Hill where the world’s natural highest lighthouse is located; in the bottom of the hill there are two caves, one called the pirate (refuge for the French vessels) and the other called the Devil.

Yate FiestaThe tour continues toward the two brother island; better know as the white stones. In one of them the cave of the throat is located; it is called this way due to the rocky formations in it.

Just in winter the turtle island is inhabited by funny sea lions, they are a unique show for the visitor.

The boat heads on to tour the beautiful bay of Mazatlan, to admire the first hotel area of the port, its main monuments and the Golden Zone.

The tour ends after touring the three islands, known as Goats, Deer and Birds. Recently they were declared as country’s patrimony.

Yate Fiesta departs everyday at 11 am and the cost per person is 150.00 pesos, two drinks included. There are also sunset tours from 6pm on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
