 OLAS ALTAS: This beach has witnessed a great number of historic facts on our port, from docking to disembarking of worldwide merchandise until the refuge of friendly and enemy troops. Nowadays is one of the most preferred places of those who enjoy peace and sunshine. It is part of the old mazatlan attractions. It takes its name from the big waves crashing in this area, a lot of good swimmers have plenty of respect for them , so they swim carefully. Despite this is surfers delight, in this beach you can take a delicious suntan , a refreshing dive in the ocean and admire wonderful sunsets. The mistery of this beach is the modification of the sand location depending on the season because the sand is in the north side of the beach and six months later it can be on the south side.
 LOS PINOS: Pintoresque and very small beach located just next to Casa del Marino and Venustiano Carranza fortress on Paseo Claussen Avenue, it is families and surfers favorite beach. There is a contrast on this beach, the water is quite near the beach, but a little bit inside the ocean the waves are fenomenal not affecting people.
 PLAYA NORTE: It is the longest within what it is considered the scenic part of the city. Going from north to south it starts at the Milennium monument (valentino´s disco) until the Fishermen´s Monument. With the remodelation of the Avenue del Mar you can capture with more intensity the beauty of this beach. It is part of the main bay in the port, allowing sunbathing lovers to choose their spot within this long string without a problem. Early morning at Playa Norte you could meet the fishermen who bring fresh fish, a lot of natives and tourists fight with pelicans and seagulls to obtain the best the catch. This beach is the favorite of those who like walking and running next to the ocean. In the afternoons it is a unique site to glance marvelous sunsets.
 PLAYA GAVIOTAS AND CAMARON: They are known as the most beautiful beaches in the world, because its white beaches, the best hotels and restaurants are located there. It is a spot to be for locals and tourists. Sunbathing here is common, as well as a dive in the ocean, swimming and some fun. For the daring kind there are water sports like parachuting and the banana boat ride, beach volley ball is also available. Sunsets here are outstanding.
 SABALO-CERRITOS: The most exotic and semivirgin in Mazatlan, they are considered as the ones with more potential in short term. They are charming and sandy. Located in the north side of Mazatlan. Starting at La Marina El Cid. There are few hotels and white beaches. Ideal place to sunbathe quietly because of the few visitors, swimming is possible with some caution. There are several beach access along it. Because of the three island are away you can have beautiful views at sunset. On avenue Sabalo-Cerritos you find beautiful gardens, plus an area for having coconut water and fresh seafood.
