It is a pleasure for me to extend you a cordial invitation to enjoy our tourist destination fully during September – October, 2005. In this time as it occurs to all the tourist destinations, Mazatlan has a decrease in the number of visitors, therefore it is an ideal time to enjoy town at its fullest.
In October Mazatlan wakes up to Sports and Culture. Regarding to sports the great winter baseball season begins with the Venados (Mazatlan`s Baseball) wakes up the fans, the best fans in Mexico,. On Culture Mazatlan opens the season with the Sinaloa Arts Fair 2005, in this occasion it will be improved by making Mazatlan the south of the State host, with this our visitors particularly art lovers will be able to enjoy magnificent shows of music, ballet and different artistic disciplines, presented by not only national companies but from all over the world too, this year the event takes place from Oct 14th to Oct 24th.
Mazatlan has another alternative to the world, thanks to its privilege location in the Mexican pacific, its excellent means of communication, the richness of the land and coasts and the spirit of the people, Mazatlan has become a paradise for making business, due to its important active trade port hosting the biggest Shrimp and Tuna fleet of Mexico, important import and export transactions to any place in the world take place in the facilities. The port community of Mazatlan is so important and diverse that it gives itself the physiognomy of a multiservices port. That is why in this issue the joint effort of API Mazola, State Government, The Economic Development department of Sinaloa´s state government, Sinaloa`s Tourism Bureau, Port’s Community Business people, Sponsors of the magazine and the Magazine Staff includes the section called "Puerto 10" designed to present what is available at Mazatlan`s port community, as another promotional attraction.
