Mayaland Hotel and Bungalows sits on 100 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in the heart of the archeological park, with its own entrance to the Mayan temples. The main building is beautifully proportioned and is embellished with details that remind one of a bygone era. The stairs sweep from an open mezzanine up to an entrance hall full of antiques, polished tiles, plants and sunlight. The guestrooms and suites have spectacular gardens in front and the observatory of Chichen Itza to the west. The bungalows were built in traditional Mayan style with wood, stone, regional marble and thatched roofs and look like extensions of the gardens on which they are located. They were designed for guests who wish to commune with nature and the culture that rose to greatness centuries ago.
You may choose to stay in our main building with impressive views of the Mayan temples or in our bungalows located among tropical vegetation. We assure you that your stay in Mayaland Hotel will be an experience that will last for a lifetime.
The main wing of the Hotel Mayaland has 55 rooms and 5 multi-room guest suites. In addition, individual, dual and triple-unit villas are nestled among the trees and flowers of the beautifully landscaped hotel. Hand-carved mahogany woodwork and delicate stained glass compete for attention with the many exotic birds and butterflies that are perennial resident guests of our gardens. The villas all have large shaded terraces and verandas, a perfect place for relaxing after a day visiting Mayan temples.
