Dif-Estrella-Mar-Donativo.jpgMazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, February 21, 2008.- Yesterday morning in the DIF offices of Mazatlan, a donation was given by J. Patrick Butler, General Director of the world class beachfront golf resort, Estrella del Mar.  He was accompanied by Aldo Gonzalez, the Director of Estrella del Mar.

The delivery of the 68, 250.00 dollar check was made in the office of Perla Sarmiento de Lopez who received the check in her hands and thanks the good will of Estrella del Mar for supporting the DIF programs in Mazatlan.

This donation is a percentage of what was raised in the third International Charity and Celebrity Golf Tournament held last January 5, 6 and 7 at Estrella del Mar.

The tournament was held to raise funds for education and so Mr. Butler asked Mrs. Perla to focus part of the money from the check on education and another part on the Virtual Babies program.

With this donation, Estrella del Mar joins the businesses and institutions that have helped the development of DIF, an agency that helps those who need help most.

Mr. Butler was interviewed by us at the end of the check delivery ceremony.  He said he felt very satisfied at the results of the fund raising golf tournament held at the world class beachfront golf resort, Estrella del Mar.  He added that it exceeded expectations and it lifted his spirits to contribute to this program that serves Mazatlan well.
